*all Confirmation candidates are participating in Life Teen sessions for their formation this year

Sunday, November 6th, 2022 - Copy of Baptismal Certificate/Sacramental Record Due

Sunday, December 11th, 2022 - Sponsor Selection Due

March 10th-12th - Spring Retreat

*retreat attendance is required for all candidates. Please contact our office with questions or concerns.

Sunday, March 26th, 2023 - Patron Saint Selection Due

Sunday, May 7th, 2023 - Service Hours Due

Thursday, June 1st, 2023 - Celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation

Sunday, May 21st, 2023 - Final Sunday Session of the Year

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Attendance is required for all sessions. As a minimum, candidates must participate in 18 of the 23 Sunday Sessions this year. This allows for a total of 5 excused absences. In order for an absence to be considered excused, advance notice is required (e.g. email, phone call, voicemail to youth ministry staff).

Upon a candidate’s 6th absence, youth ministry staff will contact the candidate’s parents to discuss the candidate’s participation and readiness. Celebration of the sacrament may be delayed in these cases.

SUBMISSION OF FORMS

All forms can be submitted to our office by emailing them to Maritza at mshreffler@stmarkevangelist.com. They can also be dropped off during Sunday Sesssions in the white lockbox directly outside of the youth ministry office.
