SMYC Teen Leadership
Teen Leaders are high school students who want to lead their peers and other young people to Christ. Teen Leaders will be invited throughout the year to:
- bond with other teen leaders as they grow in faith
- act as a bridge between teens and their adult mentors
- participate in Life Teen as a co-leader in small groups
- lead games and other activities at Edge, Confirmation, or Life Nights
- give testimony to God's work in their lives at retreats and Life Nights
- develop their gifts and talents in service to the parish community
Who can serve as a Teen Leader?
Any high school teen who has been Confirmed at St. Mark is encouraged to step into this servant-leadership role!
Meeting Times
Teen Leaders are required to attend monthly Life Nights and our new program: Life Teen: Rooted on the third Sunday of the month. Other meeting times may be required leading up to certain events and retreats.
