Hello Confirmation Prep Parents,
The following information will help you with make-up assignments for the first semester (September-December 2021).
Two very important notes:
1) Here's the Attendance Policy as stated in the Confirmation Prep guides: Attendance is required for all sessions. Candidates are permitted two excused absences per semester. In order for an absence to be considered excused, advance notice is required (e.g. email, phone call, voicemail to youth ministry staff or the program coordinator). Make-up assignments will be required for missed sessions. An unexcused absence will prompt youth ministry staff to contact the absent candidate’s parents. Upon a candidate’s third absence in a semester, youth ministry staff will contact the candidate’s parents to discuss the candidate’s readiness.
If you need to verify your candidate's attendance, please let me know. Please remain in communication with me about any of your concerns regarding absences, attendance, or the session schedule.
2) Make-up assignments for missed sessions: Please click the button below and review the following directions with your candidate and have them complete the required reflections for sessions missed. The Parent Letters for the first twelve sessions are attached at the bottom of this page. If you still haven't received a Story Guide, please let me know. We have a copy for you!
